Kodak has announced a new set of inkjet cartridges. The move is a bold one for the firm, as its model until now has been to use one set of cartridges for all its products. Kodak originally launched its all-in-one line with the Kodak 10 black and color tanks. At the beginning of 2010, Kodak replaced these with three new tanks—the Kodak 10B and 10XL black tanks and the Kodak 10C color tank. The new tanks were backward-compatible with devices that had taken the original 10 black and 10 color tanks but offered a higher cost of printing than the firm’s original tanks, and Kodak stopped shipping the older tanks.
