On March 29, Xerox announced the largest product launch in its history: a fleet of 29 new ConnectKey printers and MFPs, which feature the new VersaLink and AltaLink sub-brands (see “Xerox Unveils New ConnectKey Technology, Fleet of VersaLink and AltaLink MFPs, and Growth Strategy”). Some of the models, including the VersaLink B400, B405, C400, and C405, are already shipping; we covered these in a recent article (see “Xerox Updates A4 Portfolio with VersaLink B400/B405 and C400/C405”). The remainder of the models are expected to begin shipping in the second quarter and include the VersaLink B600, B605, B610, and B615 A4 monochrome laser family; the VersaLink C500, C505, C600, and C605 A4 color printer and MFP family; the VersaLink B7025, B7030, and B7035 A3 monochrome MFPs; the VersaLink C7000 A3 color printer and the VersaLink C7020, C7025, and C7030 A3 color MFPs; the AltaLink B8045, B8055, B8065, B8075, and B8090 A3 monochrome MFPs; and the AltaLink C8030, C8035, C8045, C8055, and C8070 A3 color MFPs. In this article, we focus on these soon-to-be-released models. Because these models have yet to hit the market, pricing and some other information on these models was not available as of the time of writing; however, information provided by Xerox provides a good first look at the new machines.
