On September 28, International Data Corporation (IDC) reported that in the second quarter of 2017 shipments of inkjet hardcopy peripherals (printers, MFPs) in the Asia Pacific region excluding Japan (APeJ) exceeded such shipments in the United States for the first time ever, making APeJ the number-one market in terms of shipment volume for inkjet devices.
