Ricoh’s strategy for targeting cost-sensitive end users in emerging markets has increasingly focused on refilled consumables. The company announced that it has started recovering and refilling empty toner bottles for MFPs at its facility in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. Ricoh announced at the end of July that it had added toner-bottling operations at the Gandhinagar plant.
