One of the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturers has offered to buy out beleaguered Sharp Corporation. Foxconn, the fast-growing Taiwanese company that makes Apple i-devices and other devices, including its own brands, has offered more than $5 billion to buy the Osaka-based Japanese company, which is seeking its third bailout in the past three years
