On August 31, Xerox announced the Direct to Object Inkjet Printer, a new production inkjet device that is capable of printing photos, images, and text directly on three-dimensional objects. The company says the new printer is a label-less, on-demand method of personalizing a wide variety of goods made of plastic, metals, ceramics, glass, and cloth.
