On December 8, Xerox announced that its AltaLink series MFPs have received certification for security protection standards by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP). The NIAP is a U.S. government initiative run by the National Security Agency (NSA) that certifies whether off-the-shelf commercial IT products meet international security standards set by the 28-nation Common Criteria
