On March 20, Canon Inc. filed a patent-infringement lawsuit against LD Products in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. The OEM asserts that a slew of the Long Beach, CA-based online reseller’s toner cartridges for various HP and Canon laser printers and MFPs infringe a single U.S. patent owned by Canon.
