Earlier this year, Canon Inc. filed two very similar patent-infringement lawsuits against online aftermarket cartridge resellers LD Products and V4INK. The two defendants have taken different approaches to Canon’s litigation. LD Products has defended itself by answering the complaint and filing counterclaims against Canon, while V4INK has not responded and has been entered in default.
