On December 9, Canon Inc. announced that it was able to remove from Amazon.ca (Amazon Canada) 23 patent-infringing toner cartridge listings sold by two vendors, TONER4U and UniVirgin. Canada is one of the newer markets that the OEM has been targeting with its Amazon patent-enforcement campaign. Canon announced its first toner cartridge removal from Amazon.ca
