On April 23, Suzhou Hengjiu Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., the firm known to many in the West as Suzhou Goldengreen Technologies (SGT), released its results for fiscal-year 2021. The numbers are not for the faint of heart. Revenue fell over 50 percent year-over-year and profits plunged deep into the red. SGT’s bad news wasn’t unexpected.
