In April of this year, a company called Flexiworld Technologies filed four patent-infringement lawsuits against Brother and four against Lexmark. The lawsuits claim that Brother and Lexmark printers and mobile apps for printing infringe a number of patents Flexiworld holds on wireless technologies. Brother recently responded to the complaints by filing a motion to dismiss.
