Earlier this week, InnoMemory’s patent-infringement lawsuit against Kyocera Document Solutions America Inc. was dismissed after the parties were able to reach a settlement. InnoMemory is a non-practicing entity (NPE) or what some folks call a patent troll. It filed suit against Kyocera back in May alleging that certain Kyocera printers infringe one of its patents.
