In recent months, the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) has been reporting some of the largest declines in printing-writing paper shipments since the early days of the pandemic, and that trend continued on August 16 when the group announced that total printing-writing paper shipments dropped 25 percent in July 2023 compared to July 2022.
