Tohoku Epson to Build New Inkjet Print-Head Plant


On June 12, Seiko Epson Corporation announced that Tohoku Epson Corporation, a subsidiary based in Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, that manufactures semiconductors and printer components, will invest approximately ¥5.1 billion (U.S. $32.4 million) to construct a new factory for inkjet print heads. The new factory is expected to quadruple Tohoku Epson’s current print-head production
