Last week, U.S. District Judge William F. Jung issued a summary judgment order in Lexmark’s patent-infringement lawsuit against third-party chipmaker Universal Imaging Industries (UII), which has been ongoing since 2018. Both sides asked for summary judgments in their favor on certain issues, and the court granted in part and denied in part each firm’s motion.
