On July 6, Seiko Epson announced that its high-capacity ink tank printers have now achieved cumulative global sales of 15 million units. When Epson refers to high-capacity ink tank printers, the company means EcoTank and L-series continuous ink supply system (CISS) inkjets and replaceable ink pack system (RIPS) inkjets, as opposed to traditional cartridge-based inkjets.
