HP has introduced free, downloadable software that is designed to help customers distinguish original OEM HP toner cartridges from counterfeits. In addition, HP’s new Toner Cartridge Authentication program will identify remanufactured cartridges as “used,” along with identifying other non-genuine cartridge states.
