On December 4, International Data Corporation (IDC) released some findings from its “Worldwide Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker” for the third quarter of 2019. The research firm tracks shipments and shipment value for A2- to A4-size printers, copiers, and MFPs. It was another down quarter for hardware manufacturers—the fifth consecutive one, according to IDC’s quarterly releases.
