On February 21, International Data Corporation (IDC) released selected findings from its “Worldwide Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker” for the fourth quarter of 2019. The research firm tracks shipments and shipment value for A2- to A4-size printers, copiers, and MFPs. Unfortunately for printer and MFP makers, Q4 2019 marked the sixth straight quarter of shipment declines.
