Moody’s Downgrades Canon Citing Concerns about Office Copiers and Printers

On February 24, Moody’s Japan K.K. downgraded its rating for Canon Inc. At the same time, the credit rating agency said its outlook for Canon’s rating is now stable rather than negative. Moody’s downgraded Canon’s issuer rating from A3 to Baa1.To be clear, both ratings are considered “investment grade,” although a downgrade is never good.
