On October 15, Print-Rite Technology Development (PTD) announced its new NoTwist drum gear. The Hong Kong-based firm, which is a subsidiary of Print-Rite Holdings, says the cartridge gear is based on the company’s own design. According to the company’s press release, on September 25, 2012, Print-Rite was awarded a U.S. patent (U.S. patent number 8,275,291)
