Last week, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) issued its first seizure-and-forfeiture orders of the year to companies that the U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) caught importing printer cartridges in violation of the ITC’s general exclusion orders (GEOs). The year 2016 was a record-setter in terms of the number of these orders.
