Earlier this week, we reported that more testing of new-build compatible toner cartridges in Europe has revealed cartridges with elevated levels of decabromdiphenyl ether (decaBDE), a banned fire retardant (see “ETIRA-Commissioned Tests Find More Contaminated New-Build Toner Cartridges”). ETIRA commissioned TÜV Rheinland to do some testing that revealed decaBDE present in four of the five
