Canon Sues Vendor for Providing Cruddy-Looking Office Furniture

A recent lawsuit demonstrates both Canon’s litigiousness and its need to cut costs. Earlier this month, Canon U.S.A., sued Haworth, Inc., a Michigan-based office furniture manufacturer, claiming that the half million dollars’ worth of office furniture that Canon purchased from Haworth primarily for its Melville, NY, regional headquarters now appears “worn, faded, discolored, and/or streaked.”
