On May 18, International Data Corporation (IDC) shared some data from its “China Quarterly Hardcopy Peripherals Tracker” for the first quarter of 2022. The news was not upbeat. In Q1 2022, hardcopy peripheral (printer and MFP) shipments declined 13.7 percent year-over-year to 3.959 million units. China is hardly the only region seeing shipment declines. IDC
