A non-practicing entity (NPE) that licenses patents called Ortiz & Associates LLC has filed a first amended complaint against Ricoh. The move appears to be a delay tactic as well as a bid to avoid dismissal. A previous lawsuit that Ortiz had filed against Ricoh was dismissed and Ricoh had asked the court to dismiss
