In the month of March, Chinese third-party chip-designer Guangzhou Zhono Microelectronics Co. Ltd. released chips for toner cartridges used in printers and multifunction printers (MFPs) made by Sharp, Fujifilm, Kyocera, and Sindoh, according to the company’s LinkedIn post. “Each chip released by Zhono has been rigorously tested and validated,” the company said in the post.
