Earlier this month, a company called WEX Inc. filed a trademark-infringement lawsuit against HP Inc. over the latter company’s plans to use the WEX name for its HP WEX artificial intelligence (AI) platform. WEX has since moved for a preliminary injunction against HP, and the district court has set some deadlines related to this motion.
