On September 15, Sharp Electronics Corporation of the United States announced that it was celebrating parent company Sharp Corporation’s 110th anniversary. The company’s press release states, “On this day in 1912, founder Tokuji Hayakawa began the company that would become a worldwide leader in developing core technologies that play a key role in shaping the future of electronics.”
