HP Faces Investigation in New Zealand over Firmware and Dynamic Security


New Zealand’s Commerce Commission has launched an investigation into whether HP’s use of firmware updates and Dynamic Security authentication technology to restrict the use of third-party cartridges is anti-competitive.
